Intonamori is electronic musician Jon Anstee, operating on the leftfield underground for the last 10 years or so, DJing, performing and producing for a variety of labels and collectives. From co-running / organizing parties in fields, beaches and big ol’ barns around the Northwest, club nights in Liverpool and Warrington to hip hop production and playing in various bands.
Critically lauded and financially disastrous, this is music made for the love of it, far removed from the Brit school super polished and career focused musician. Whatever collaborations have been going on at the time Jon has always made his own solo music as Intonamori, as much influenced by hip hop, soul, dub and the leftfield as it is by classic and contempory electronic music.
